Please arrive with clean, dry hair so we can accurately assess your colour, texture, and natural pattern. I also recommend wearing a simple neckline (avoiding hoods or collars) for haircut appointments to allow me full visibility and precision.
Where is your salon located, and is there parking nearby?
I'm conveniently located in on Loggers Lane, between Robin and Finch streets. There will always be FREE client parking available outside of the salon. You can find our exact location and directions on our Contact page.
Do you offer hair services for all textures and types?
Absolutely. I'm trained to work with straight, wavy and curly hair using techniques that respect your hair's natural movement. Whether you're after a smooth layered cut or a curly hair transformation right here in Squamish, I customize every service for balance, shape and effortless styling once you get home.
What hair products do you use, and are they eco-friendly?

What is the difference between balayage and traditional highlights?
Balayage is a hand-painted highlighting technique that creates a softer, more natural blend of colour, while traditional highlights are applied using foils for a more uniform, defined result. At TINT Beauty Bar, Caity is a balayage expert who will personalize your colour placement to enhance your haircut and skin tone, creating a seamless, lived-in finish that grows out beautifully.
How often should I get my haircut or colour touched up?
Most clients visit every 12–16 weeks for a haircut and every 8–12 weeks for colour maintenance, depending on the service and desired look. My lived-in colour techniques are designed to grow gracefully, meaning fewer salon visits without sacrificing style. I’ll recommend a maintenance plan and at-home care routine tailored to your hair type and goals.
What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first visit, we’ll start with a detailed consultation to understand your hair goals, history, and lifestyle. You’ll enjoy a relaxed, one-on-one experience in our calm, private, modern space while Caity crafts a look that feels effortless and authentic to you.
Are your hair colour products ammonia-free or low-tox?
Absolutely. I exclusively use KEVIN.MURPHY products. They're free from harsh chemicals, parabens and sulphates. These products deliver salon-quality results while protecting your hair, your scalp and the planet. It's just one of the reasons my clients love coming to my clean beauty salon.
How can I maintain my hair colour at home?
I recommend washing with a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioning regularly. A bond-repair treatment like Olaplex once a week works wonders too. Protect your colour by taking it easy on the heat styling and avoiding too much UV exposure.

I'm proud to be part of Green Circle Salons. That means chemical waste never goes down the drain and every bit of hair collected gets donated for oil spill cleanups. I recycle everything I can and I'm always looking for new ways to make my little salon more sustainable while still doing an outstanding job.
