For Better results and time efficiency, here are some tips to keep in mind before visiting the beauty bar:

  1. Come with clean fresh hair so the colour can absorb.
  2. Please avoid wearing your best outfit. Although we try to practice cleanliness, it’s hard to avoid possible colour and/or bleach stains in the process.
  3. Bring one to three photo references to show what look you’re inspired by. This will ensure you and your stylist are clear on what the finished result should be. Showing more than three photos may cause miscommunications.

If you’re running late:

We are able to hold your appointment for 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time.If you are running 15 minutes late, please give the salon a courtesy call. After the 15 minute mark, we may need to reschedule your appointment upon stylist discretion.

If you are running 30 minutes late, it will be very hard to achieve your desirable end result. It will be best to reschedule your appointment for a later date. A long delay makes things worse for each customer who follows and, that’s unfair to clients who arrive on time.

Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy:

We ask that you provide us with 48 hours notice of cancellation. However, we recognize that not all of life’s unexpected events come with advance notice. As a courtesy, please remember to call us as soon as you know that you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment and we’d be happy to rebook it for you.  Our employees depend on you to respect their availability, please make every effort to arrive for your scheduled time. We reserve the option to administer a cancellation fee when a service is cancelled less than 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 30% of the reserved service amount.

In addition, TINT reserves the right to charge for any appointments that are missed without notice. Fees will be added to your bill.

Thank you for respecting our staff.

Confirmation Calls:

As a courtesy, we will call and confirm your service appointments two business day prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.

Fashion colour appointments

We found that the best way to achieve those smokey grey hues or vibrant pinks are to schedule a complimentary consultation. The stylist will be able to determine the level of lift, how many sessions, and the strength of your hair during this appointment. We then can move forward all being on the same page and having a clear game plan on how to get you to your desired effect.

Forms of payment:

We accept American Express, VISA and MasterCard credit or debit cards and cash. We do not accept checks as a form of payment.

If you are unhappy with a hair service, please notify the salon within one week (5-7 days) from the date of your service and we will gladly perform the service again with the service provider that you saw for the initial service. A redo must be completed within 14 days of original service. Some restrictions may apply, see salon for details.

Upon receiving services client agrees to all terms, conditions & salon policies.

How should I prepare for my trial?

When booking your trial, let us know how thick and long your hair is so we can allow for the appropriate amount of time. It’s also helpful to know how many looks you’re interested in testing out. Arrive with clean, dry hair with no product. Try to wear a white top in a similar shape to your dress (tank top, t-shirt, strapless, etc). Bring all accessories, including hair pieces, veils, earrings, and necklaces. If you are doing a makeup trial, bring any special makeup you prefer. Photos of your dress and jewelry can be helpful, if jewelry is not available to bring to your trial. Bring photos of your wedding hair & makeup inspiration. Bring hair extensions if planning on wearing them, or consult with your stylist at your trial regarding extensions.

What should I expect at my trial?

Trials are done more quickly and with minimal product than your actual wedding day to ensure that the bride is able to see different shapes, styles, and techniques. Hair trials take about 1.5 hours to account for consultation, review of inspiration photos, and time allotted for various looks. Makeup trials take about 1 hour. If you are coming in to try out both hair and makeup, we typically book you for 3 hours.

What should I expect on my wedding day?

If we are coming to your location, our stylists will arrive 15 minutes ahead of the first service. If you are coming to the salon, please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment. Please make sure all individuals are ready for our stylists with clean, dry hair with no product. Typically, the bride’s hair and makeup will take 1 hour each. Bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girls typically take 45 minutes per service.
